This course discovers, and analyses historical primary source documents while exploring Constitutional Philosophy in light of the doctrine of Christianity and the Covenantal view of Government.

Requirements: Each student is to show an in-depth understanding of the material presented, and must be able to produce a series of carefully written works accurately analyzing government policy in order to dispute erroneous modern governmental polity in light of the Covenant structure.

This course is an excellent primer for those interested in the history and philosophy of political thought and legal ideology from a Biblical perspective. This is a lecture based course which covers both philosophy and politics from the beginning of Creation through antiquity to Puritan and Enlightenment. This is an excellent companion to the Constitutional Law and Constitutional Philosophy courses.

Requirements: This course is structured as an independent class corresponding to the class lectures. The student will be required to listen to the lectures  and be prepared to discuss in writing the principles behind each lecture.
